Su joined the clinic in 1991 so has almost 30 years’ experience in assisted reproduction. Su’s first degree was in Biology, specialising in Cells and Development, which lead to her interest in IVF and on to study the genetics of failed fertilised human oocytes for her Masters in Medical Science from Birmingham University in 2000.
Su is a Clinical Scientist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), is a member of the Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE), the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) and Association of Biomedical Andrologists (ABA). She has previously held the position of secretary of ACE (February 2008- February 2011) and has been a member of the UK NEQAS Embryology Steering Committee since October 2011. In addition, she has co-authored several scientific publications.
Su is the Laboratory Manager at CARE Fertility Tamworth and also manages the embryology and andrology laboratories.
