Dr Julija Gorodeckaja

Group Medical Director

Julija joined Care fertility in November 2021 as Deputy Group Medical Director for South Region. She was recently promoted to Group Medical Director, where she now leads Genomics at Care Fertility.

Training

Julija studied at Vilnius University, specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology. She further pursued her expertise by completing an MBA in international healthcare management at Frankfurt University.

Career

Julija started her medical career at Whittington Hospital as a specialty doctor before transitioning over to the Baltic Medical Centre in London. There, she managed outpatient gynaecology and early pregnancy scan services, expanding to into an international IVF satellite clinic collaborating with 7 countries.

In 2016, Julija joined London Women’s Clinic as a clinical research fellow and later became a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine. During her time there, Julija developed a keen interest in reproductive genomics, actively contributing to the PGT clinical programme led by Prof. Alan Handyside, Mr. Michael Summers, and Dr. Christian Ottolini.
