Laura’s current role involves working within the donation team, undertaking appointments with recipients who are planning treatment with donated gametes.
Training
Laura qualified as a Midwife from the University of Manchester in 2009. She is also a Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA) following completion of a master’s module in 2021.
I understand that patients have often had numerous setbacks and difficult times before meeting me. I will always endeavour to be kind, supportive and knowledgeable during your fertility journey.

Career
Laura worked at two NHS trusts over 13 years. Laura began working with Care Fertility in 2022.
Specialities & Credentials
Laura has a particular interest in working with couples having Shared Motherhood treatment. Laura undertakes the initial donation appointment explaining the screening requirements and legal parenthood consents in addition to planning the treatment for couples.
