Lauren Oliver
Training
After graduating from Liverpool John Moore's University in 2009 with a degree in Biology, Lauren embarked on a career Embryology. After completing her training, she earned an Association of Clinical Embryology (ACE) certificate in 2016 and became registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in 2020.
Lauren's clinical responsibilities include a range of tasks, such as the collection and preparation of gametes, conducting insemination via conventional IVF and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), assessing embryo grading, performing transfers, warms and cryopreservation. With 6 years experience, she is now a Senior Clinical Embryologist, specialising in the delicate process of removing cells from the embryo for Pre-implantation Genetic Testing (PGT).
Career
Lauren has always have a keen interest in Fertility and the Reproductive System, merging this passion with a dedication to science, has led her into the field of Embryology. With the help of modern science, she is committed to overcoming various Fertility obstacles and making the dreams of a family a reality for patients.
Lauren views parenthood as one of lives most fulfilling experiences and considers it a privilege to work in a field that helps people achieve this journey. Day-to-day, Lauren oversees clinical procedures at Care Fertility Liverpool. Additionally, she manages the laboratory maintenance and the movement of embryos into the unit, which houses a substantial number of cryopreserved embryos. Lauren works across both our Liverpool and Cheshire clinics.
