Megan Lockwood

Embryologist
Megan’s current role involves working as a part of Care Fertility Manchester’s laboratory team. Megan is involved in all stages of the IVF process from egg retrieval to embryo transfer and everything in-between.

Training

Megan completed her undergraduate degree at Huddersfield University during her studies she completed a year in industry with the reproduction and early development team at the Leeds institute of cardiovascular and metabolic medicine. Megan completed her Master’s degree at Manchester Metropolitan University achieving a distinction.

Career

Megan started her career at Care Fertility in 2017 where she completed her Scientist Training Programme and Masters to become a HCPC registered clinical embryologist.

Specialities & Credentials

Megan’s role involves working in the laboratory maintaining high standards to provide the best possible results for patients. Megan has a keen interest in improving embryo culture conditions. Megan has present data and her own research on embryo culture at national conferences.

Membership of Professional Bodies

Megan is a member of the Association of Reproductive and Clinical Scientists.
