Dr Nikoletta Panagiotopoulou

Consultant in Reproductive Medicine

Nikoletta is a consultant gynaecologist and has gained special accreditation as a subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).

Career

She brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to Care Fertility Manchester as she has worked in a number of the largest and most established fertility clinics in the UK and has gained post-graduate qualifications for her clinical and research work from Oxford and Newcastle Universities.

She was awarded a prestigious Wellbeing of Women scholarship in 2015 for her research work on female fertility preservation and has worked with the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) to raise awareness of fertility care.

Memberships & Accreditations

She is an editorial board member for the RCOG eLeaning platform and an assistant editor for the scientific journal, The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She is also an active member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology having previously served in the Reproductive Surgery special interest group.

Specialities & Interests

She is experienced in all aspects of reproductive medicine and IVF, and also specialises in the overall management of gynaecological disorders, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, recurrent miscarriage, premature ovarian insufficiency and menopause that have a reproductive element at their core.
