Phoebe Babbington

Deputy Laboratory Manager
Phoebe is currently the Laboratory Manager for Care Fertility London, where she is involved in the general management and day-to-day running of a busy IVF lab. The majority of her time is spent managing her team, speaking with patients, and routinely performing ICSI and embryo biopsy.

Training

Phoebe completed her embryology training via the Scientist Training Programme (STP) for Reproductive Science at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester.  This included a three-year part time MSc in Clinical Science (Reproductive Science) from the University of Nottingham from which she graduated with distinction. Part of her training included a research project which involved the development and optimisation of an in-vitro model to assess the early stages of human embryo implantation. This work contributed to work that was eventually published in the Journal of Human Reproduction (link below).
