Dr Rahnuma Kazem
Training
Rahnuma graduated with honours (MBBS) in 1985. Her comprehensive training covered Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Infertility. Rahnuma gained valuable experience in the Assisted Conception Unit at Aberdeen, receiving her Doctorate of Medicine from Aberdeen University in 1995.
She further enhanced her expertise through Subspecialist Training in Reproductive Medicine in Edinburgh from 1996 to 1998. Following this, Rahnuma worked as a consultant at the Nottingham University Research and Treatment Unit in Reproduction (NURTURE)for 6 years before joining Care Fertility.

Dr Rahnuma Kazem brings extensive experience and expertise to the management of male and female infertility. Her specialisms include the treatment of older patients, cases with reduced ovarian reserve, endocrine disorders, and recurrent implantation failure.
Additionally, she has a wealth of experience in managing patients requiring donor eggs, donor sperm or surrogacy, leading the donation team at Care Fertility Northampton. Dedicated to optimising success rates, Rahnuma is committed to helping patients achieve the best chances of success.
Her research into egg freezing and donation, conducted as part of her MD Thesis at the University of Aberdeen in 1995, has contributed to advancements in the field. Dr Kazem has published several papers and presented at national and international meetings focused on infertility and assisted reproduction.
