Sam Rhodes
Training
Sam completed her studies at Newcastle University and the University of Nottingham, specialising in assisted reproduction technology. She achieved Distinction in her Master’s degree, and subsequently completed her Embryologist training at Care Fertility Northampton, gaining her HCPC Registration.
Career
Sam started her career as an Embryologist at Care Fertility Northampton in 2012. Over the years, she has contributed to various Care Fertility clinics across the UK and played a key role in integrating the Woking clinic into the Care Fertility family in 2020. Since early 2022, Sam has been the Laboratory Manager at Care Fertility Birmingham.
Specialities and Credentials
In her current role, Sam plays a pivotal role in driving best practice, creating optimal patient care, and leading her team in research and innovation. She consistently reviews quality standards and embraces new technologies to enhance patient outcomes. Sam's special interest lies in Genetics, and is an active participant in the group-wide biopsy focus group. Her dedication to advancing the field of Reproductive Science is evident through her presentations at multiple national and international conferences and she is committed to keeping up with new advances in the field of Reproductive Science.
Membership of Professional Bodies
Sam is an experienced Clinical Embryologist, holding membership in the Association of Reproductive Scientists (ARCS) and she is a Diplomate of the Royal College of Pathologists.
