Training

After studying for his MBBS medical degree from the University of London, he won the prestigious Anne McLaren Award at University College London (UCL) for his MSc in Reproductive Science and Women's Health; consequently, he has been an Honorary Member on the Dean's List at UCL for outstanding Academic Clinical Excellence since 2018. Dr Robati also received a high Distinction in his Advanced Fertility Ultrasound MSc, including 3D gynaecology scanning and early pregnancy ultrasound.

Career

Dr Robati has 15 years of clinical experience spanning Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine.  He obtained a certificate of completion of training (CCT) in this field, a completed and approved UK training programme and is subsequently a member of the Specialist Register. He became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and has been working as a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine for Care since 2020. He has been an Educational Supervisor for undergraduate medical students, leading in fertility and subfertility tutorials and is dedicated to passing on his knowledge.

Dr Robati chose a career in assisted reproduction and IVF due to his passion and dedication in ensuring couples have the opportunity to conceive and start a family. His motivation to help couples embark upon this journey is fuelled by his drive to provide high quality patient care to the best of his ability and supporting couples by delivering high standards and individualised care.

Specialities & Credentials

Dr Robati has a variety of experience in all aspects of diagnosis and treatment of infertility.  He also specialises in the overall management of gynaecological disorders, including low ovarian reserve, recurrent implantation failure, recurrent miscarriage, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), ovulation disorders, endometriosis, 3D gynaecology ultrasound scan/uterine malformations, male factor infertility, preimplantation genetic testing, fertility preservation, egg and sperm donation treatment.

Dr Robati has attained accreditation through the British Fertility Society (BFS) in ‘Assisted Conception’ and ‘Management of the Infertile Couple’ modules, integral to the modern management of couples wishing to conceive.  He incorporates his knowledge gained into clinical practice with a wide spectrum of clinical presentations, diagnoses and treatments.

Dr Robati is very active in fertility research.  He has presented platform talks and presentations at numerous esteemed international conferences, including:

• Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology World Congress
• European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the world’s largest event in reproductive science and medicine where his research into recurrent pregnancy loss aimed to contribute to changing national and international guidelines, improving outcomes and live birth rates for patients.
