This month it's Professor Charles Kingsland who will be answering your questions. He is our Group Clinical Director and one of the UK's leading IVF consultants.
Dr Alison Campbell
Dr Campbell is Director of Embryology at Care Fertility, heading up the twelve embryology teams with over 70 embryologists.
She studied at Leicester and Nottingham Universities, specializing in assisted reproduction technology and completed her PhD based on embryo selection at the University of Kent.
Alison was responsible for the first clinical application of time-lapse microscopy in the UK and has published her work in this exciting area of assisted reproduction. She also edited the first monograph published on time lapse embryology, "Atlas of time lapse embryology". Alison has contributed to many key texts about embryology, including co-authoring the chapter on embryology in the prestigious ‘Gray's Anatomy: The Anatomical Basis of Clinical Practice’.
Alison has a passion for training and development of embryologists and has established a state of the art training facility and laboratory, based at Care Manchester.

Charles trained in Reproductive Medicine and IVF at the Middlesex Hospital and Bourne Hall clinic. Professor Charles Kingsland founded The Hewitt Centre in Liverpool in 1989 and under his clinical directorship, it has become Britain’s largest NHS facility performing over 2000 cycles in 2016.
After 28 years in Liverpool, Charles joined Care Fertility as Clinical Director bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to the Group.
He was appointed Professor at the Post Graduate Medical Institute at Edge Hill University in 2012 and has established Mastership Courses in Advanced Fertility Practice for Nurses and Doctors alike, together with an active Research Programme.
As media spokesman for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Charles appears regularly on TV and Radio programmes and is in high demand as a public speaker. A BBC documentary of his work in Liverpool was broadcast in 2014.
